Delta Marsh // Ducharme Decoy
The "Ducharme" style decoy was inspired by decoys that James Ford Bell hunted with on Heron Lake in Southwestern MN. JFB migrated his Heron Lake decoys to the Delta Marsh in Manitoba, where he met and hired the Ducharme family to both guide and make decoys for him.

Prototype #001x
This decoy has a basswood head, glass eyes, high density 13" cork body and hard maple keel.
Parker oil paints, multiple coats of spar urethane and primer base on entire decoy.
Both head and keel have dowel and epoxy construction.
These decoys will last for generations.
Primaries and speculum added for realism.
Appropriate weight will be added to keel once float tested.
Delta Marsh Canvasback decoys are also available with white cedar bodies and white cedar or basswood heads.
